MySpace comic books “color magic frame” sunglasses, USB bracelet, glowing cup, and pin were all given away at the MySpace/TechCrunch Launch Party at Mezzanine. The party was also DJ’d by Samantha Ronson.

MySpace just launched its developer platform and had a party to celebrate. I was told the get-together was for developers, but several I know were turned away at the door. Inside the room: Lots of press, PR, and some VCs. Plus a decent swag bag. High point for me: The Flip, a low-end, Flash-based video camera. Highlight for my son: The beach toys. Also inside: Two lame T-shirts.
